1st post - The Lion and the Pearl

Hey peeps! this is the 1st post for the blog dedicated to my adventure to the Oriental Pearl place - Shanghai!

Let me see... now i've got approximately 35 days before i leave the lion city for the pearl place and i'm starting to feel the excitement and uncertainty aldy. at 1st, i hav loads of uncertainty and some fear bcos i am going alone with no frenz ard. however, now i've found a room mate and some other frenz who are also other students going for this programme in Shanghai, i felt much better. we talked a lot on msn and i find them quite nt bad to hang with. well, hope we all can hav fun la... hee...

But before July 9th, the day i will leave, i still have loads to do... Visa, air ticket, medical checkup, insurance, accomodation, money issue, the packing and most importantly, the need to get myself ready for the trip.

Actually, i also dunnoe y i sign on to this programme, maybe the thought of leaving SG at tat time was really too great. now, i suddenly feel like i will miss all the frenz here, my family, muffin and well... ya.. ppl who are impt to me. albeit i will miss them definitely, but i feel the trip is a good way to make me learn some independance and get some freedom! u all can ensure there will be more mixed feelings inside of me as the date draws nearer... now, i'm breaking the news to all my frenz... and yes, i will miss a lot of things; 11 birthdays, fren's wedding and christmas! oh no... and so the time to meet for farewell dinner n dates has come...

Nonetheless, i will treasure the 30-odd days b4 i leave this lion place... erm... keep in touch with me via msn, email or this blog. i will also post my contact number and address here shortly after they hav been confirmed. hope i hav the time and desire to update this blog regularly ba, so ya, keep checking back ok?
