and wat a spread! 10 course meal for 5 ppl! hee...

god almighty pig trotters! super nice can... yummy!!! Wan San Trotters are the number 1 delicacy in Zhou Zhuang.. a muz try! nt forgetting the ZZ beer as well... though abit blend, but its very smooth la.. (still.. nothing beats Qingdao!)

the gang after dinner... look tired after an entire day of touring n walking...

Suzho + Zhou Zhuang Prt2

Here we are at our next destination, Ding Yuan (Calm Garden). The entrance fee is only 38rmb and definitely more fun!

This is our lunch. haha.. its nt nice at all, the rice is soooooooo cold i tot it was taken out frm a fridge eeeek! but the free tea provided was quite nice though i think they nv wash the cups after previous customers leave. but heck! who cares... i am immerse enuff.. i also bought some tealeafs which cost me abt 100rmb aldy.

Lazy or Tired?

Wanted to post the part 2 of my Suzhou and Zhou Zhuang trip but am too lazy and tired aldy. i actually went to play badminton with my colleagues after work! gosh... so tired now... my boss even try to train us lor... haha.. got a lot of gao shuo here, these chinese ppl really gd in badminton lor. but its good also la, i need to do more exercise here... if not i will only keep on munching stuff but nv try to work it off.

if i know i'll be doing so much exercise here, i shld hav brought more exercise clothings and accessories over. but luckily i bought the ascis shoes also, find it quite comfortable n light. i shall b more discipline and exercise more often then! go go go!!!

18/07/2007: Suzhou + Zhou Zhuang Prt 1

Hee hee... ok la ok la... finally uploaded my photos for Suzhou and Zhou Zhuang. u noe i am very lazy 1..

Here are the photos during our 1st day in Suzhou. the weather is freaking hot and the sun almost kill us! now i've become a dark blackie aldy... hee.. with a nice tan.

this is the express train tat we took, more high class than the 1 we've rode to Huang Shan lor.

Here we are at Suzhou at abt 8am in the morn. Time to depart to the many well-known gardens here but we have difficulty looking for the bus that we should take.

Our 1st destination: finally we are here at Hu Qiu. Frankly, there is nothing much here, wasted our 60rmb entrance fee.

Sunday usually is our cooking day and so wat do we hav for this particular sunday???

Study or Play?

My, my my my... time is so hard to pass once i've reached office. have got nothing much to do at work for the past few working days and i am getting so bored and lazy! if this continues, think i will dragged if more work comes in for me. this is contributing to my laziness n tiredness!

maybe i can juz slack through my internship and get the 5 AUs tat i need for me to graduate... the most impt thing is to have fun and make use of the time to travel ard China!!! this is the kind of mentality tat i hav now and i noe its not gd.. but heck! i'm going to start my working life (SAD) when i get back to SG and hell! i reall hate this kind of life... being a student is still more carefree and has more time and freedom.

n speaking of traveling, we're going Suzhou and Zhou Zhuang this weekend! hee hee.. hope we can hav fun... and we r planning where to go during China's national day. we're gonna have 7 days of holidays and our itinerary might include Inner Mongolia & Beijing OR Cheng Du & Xi An. but i heard the crowd during tat time is CRAZY (i'm talking abt 1.3 billion ppl all outside at one time.. haha.. ok.. i'm exagerrating.. maybe 80million ppl ba). this will mean my $$ will be used up soon! hahahaa... die! but since i am all the way here, muz as well make use of the chance to travel rite??

still got half more mth b4 i get my pay.. oh come on... time quickly turn! as of now.. there's still abt 8 more hrs to knk off...

This is freaking longest steps i've ever climbed!!! n its so steep can...

oh man.. look at this man who couldnt climb.. he has to be carried! n can u imagine carrying a 80kg man n climbing those steep steps????? truly remarkable... n u can get it done by spending 100rmb.

XY scared till her legs all went soft huh.. hha...
